    Position Objective

    • Part of a graduate development programme which will provide interpersonal and team working related training courses to develop skills that are fundamental to the business.
    • Part of a two year development programme that will involve rotations with in multiple engineering departments to ensure you experience and develop understanding of how General Dynamics UK operates.
    • Graduates joining General Dynamics UK will be expected to add value from day one. Through the development programme and through work experience in departmental areas, the successful candidate will develop into a valuable member of the business.

    Responsibilities Include

    The successful candidate will find themselves working on programmes at various stages of the development lifecycle, gaining experience and an understanding of how Engineering and General Dynamics operate.

    Engineering activities undertaken will be varied and can include design, implementation, analysis, integration and testing. As a General Dynamics Engineering Graduate, you will gain hands-on experience under the supervision and guidance of a more senior Engineer.

    You will progressively develop technical, interpersonal, team working and other valuable skills that are fundamental to the business. Your capabilities will increase through our Graduate Scheme, on the job work experience, and our commitment to continuous professional development.

    Education & Experience

    • A minimum qualification of a 2:1 honours degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math’s (STEM) related) is required.
