    About the job

    • The Brand Development Team is responsible for defining the international brand building strategy for Old El Paso.
    • The role is part of the Brand management team which looks after core portfolio growth, Innovation, Renovation, and HHM (holistic Margin Management).  
    • The intern Assistant Brand Manager will support the team in executing Old El Paso plans with specific missions around Innovation, renovation, geo-expansion and HMM.
    • Reporting to Senior brand manager.
    • Hybrid role: minimum 2 days/week at the office in Uxbridge

    • Broad business knowledge (category, commercial, finance, logistic, legal…) cross functional partnerships

    What your impact will be

    You will be in charge of supporting the brand management team in their day today mission as well as leading your own projects. The role will evolve as you get more confident in navigating the matrix and developing your leadership skills.

    • 40-50% lead low complexity development projects: Lead & collaborate with the cross-functional team to deliver geo-expansions (existing product launch in a new market), flavour extensions, PPA (new packaging formats of existing products), artwork & design updates
    • 30-40% support of the Brand management team to ensure ‘excellence in execution’ of the pipeline: Artwork development and implementation, development of E-commerce communication tools, tracking of new product listings & distribution builds in collaboration with the local markets, briefing of the careline, management of sample requests for Innovation and Renovation, in collaboration with R&D
    • 10-20% inspire the team in shaping brand and portfolio strategies: Research on trends/ competitors to support strategic thinking on projects and overall brand/portfolio strategy, leading competition reviews and competitor tasting sessions. 

    What you will bring to the team

    • Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration (Bachelor/Masters/Diploma) or equivalent qualification.
    • Be eligible to do an internship for 12 months – Starting May or June 2023
    • A strong connector: great communicator, able to build empathy.
    • Previous commercial/marketing experience within Brand Marketing in FMCG desirable.
    • Ability to multi-task, be flexible and react quickly to changing situations.
    • Proactive problem solver with a creative and analytical mind-set
    • Positive attitude, will-do-can-do
