    Due to our increasing growth and significant backlog, we are looking to strengthen the engineering and project teams in our UK office working on international projects.

    Job Summary

    As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will be performing geotechnical engineering projects under the supervision of a Geotechnical Engineer whilst working on some intriguing and challenging projects.Above all, employees are provided the same concern, respect, and caring attitude within the organization as the company owes its success to each individual employee.

    The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will work within a team on assignments for a range of projects. The work will include the review, analysis and interpretation of technical related data. The role will include assignments offshore during the data collection phase.

    Functions and Duties

    The duties assigned to the Graduate Geotechnical Engineer are varied, but will include: 

    • International travel to offshore project locations for the data collection phase
    • Data entry of gathered offshore data and processed onshore laboratory test results
    • Processing in situ data
    • Quality assure data entry and in situ processing
    • Assist in completing pre-project documentation for offshore operations
    • Assist with technical report writing including desk studies up to interpretative reports
    • Initial selection of design profiles
    • Perform engineering calculations
    • Use of technical analysis and design software packages
    • Prepare and assist with technical inputs on projects, particularly of geotechnical aspects
    • Undertake geotechnical analytical work, create and maintain spreadsheets, in-house developed tools, and databases
    • Ensure all deliverables are conducted in full compliance with approved instructions, procedures and policies

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Relevant qualification(s) in Geology/Engineering/ Civil Engineering
