    Giganet are actively investing in early careers programs including work experience, apprenticeships, internships and graduate programs. We are delighted to offer an entry level "Graduate" role in our Systems Engineering team.

    Working for Giganet you will gain rich insight into how a successful and growing company works and successfully expand your horizons beyond academia. This role would suit someone coming to the end of their studies computing, systems or networking with an interest in Systems Engineering. 

    The role will suit someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, an analytical mind and the capability to grasp new and complex systems. You will need to be able to work independently whilst being able to collaborate with team members and vendors in a dynamic and forward thinking way.

    About the Role

    As a Giganet Graduate Systems Engineer, you will spend your time, designing (HLD & LLD), labbing, building, testing and iImplementing & supporting OSS systems and associated infrastructure for our core network.

      Giganet’s new 100Gb Juniper core, regional and national ISP network will eventually support 100,000s broadband users and business subscribers spanning tens of Openreach exchanges.

      Alongside your system engineering activities, you shall be available to handle escalations from other team members. You will closely work with our network engineers to integrate and interface the systems with the core network.

      The Recruitment Process

      If your CV is shortlisted you will be contacted by our Talent Acquisition Team for an initial screening call. Second stage interviews will be conducted face to face in our Reading or Fareham offices. We are looking to onboard successful candidates at the end of the academic year.
