    The Opportunity

    Giganet are actively investing in early careers programs including work experience, apprenticeships, internships and graduate programs. By working with local colleges & universities we aim to become an industry leader in developing early career talent.

    We are, therefore delighted to offer placements to university students for the 2023/2024 academic year to make up a healthy proportion of our rapidly growing business.

    We have 3 placement/internship opportunities available for students to join our Software Development, Technical Support and Operations teams. These internships would suit Business, Computing, or Software Engineering students and in their 2nd or 3rd year.

    The Role

    So, what will you be doing? You will be partnering with one of our teams of highly experienced and passionate “Giganerds contributing to the rapid growth and success of our business. As well as undertaking specific projects which will be related to your studies, you will gain rich insight into how a successful and growing company works and successfully expand your horizons beyond academia.

    These will be office based, hybrid roles, based out of our Reading of Fareham offices. Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/week. We will be onboarding you in Summer 2023 and you will stay with us for 1 year aligned to one department or on a rotation, dependant on your course and preference. You will receive pay and benefits of a permanent employee as a valued and respected member of the Giganet family.
