    Our Global Technology Centre

    Our new Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Filton, Bristol is a £32m state of the art technology research and development facility. It acts as a hub for world-class innovative technology for the next generation of fuel-efficient aircraft. It offers a collaborative space for research and development with universities, the UK’s CATAPULT network and GKN Aerospace’s UK supply chain, to help strengthen aerospace technology and support the UK’s Industrial strategy.

    Job Summary

    For the third and consecutive year we have a number of exciting internship opportunities based at our Global Technology Centre. Fuel your passion in making things fly by joining us at the cutting edge of the aviation industry and discover the future possibilities that await you.

    About The Project

    Working on this project will give you the opportunity to:

    • Process map (composites, metallics & assembly).
    • Research and identify state of the art IIoT technologies.
    • Use industrial connectivity and data acquisition requirements.
    • Develop and demonstrate selected smart devices, automated and robotics technologies.
    • Produce deployment value and risk model generation.
    • Sustain impact capture.
    • Project Manage.

    Job Qualifications

    In order to be considered for this role you will need to be studying towards a degree, or have completed your studies in one of the following subjects:

    • Any engineering degree i.e. mechanical, or computer science would be desirable
