The opportunity
There has never been a more exciting time to join the lifestyle brands team at GPN. The biggest lifestyle brand is SlimFast which is now enjoying strong sales performance following a recent repositioning. There are also other brands in the portfolio this role will be helping support to drive strong growth.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant has responsibility for helping to build and execute the go to market plans for multiple brands. The Marketing Assistant will also work closely with the Senior Brand Manager to roll out innovation, including supporting on building the future pipeline.
Supporting the wider marketing team, the Marketing Assistant will also work collaboratively across functions to execute the SlimFast & other lifestyle brand marketing plans in the UK.
Developing housekeeping standards, task lists and auditing compliance to 5S standards
- Support the Marketing Manager in the rollout of the brand plans, with a focus on the SlimFast brand and other lifestyle brands in portfolio.
- Lead SlimFast renovation projects including executing portfolio maintenance activities e.g. label refresh, reformulations.
- Support Senior Brand Manager on innovation projects: from concept ideation to artwork roll outs.
- Marketing team support such as planning team days and organising marketing activity calendars.
- Championing bringing trends and new product launches to the wider marketing team and proactively sharing key opportunities and trends.
- Perform day-to-day business management activities such as budget tracking, PO management, document organisation.
The skills you will bring to the team
- Strong interest in the health and wellness category.
- High energy and creativity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Able to plan and organise effectively.
- Proactive and can do attitude. Strong motivation and ambition with an ability to work under own initiative.
- Experience and / or education in marketing is a nice to have, but not essential.
