We are seeking a motivated Bioanalyst to join our Bioanalysis and Biomarkers function (based at our flagship R&D sites in Hertfordshire; Stevenage or Ware).

Our team supports pharmacokinetic (PK) and soluble biomarker measurements using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and the data we generate is critical to helping GSK Project Teams make decisions on progressing new molecules towards becoming medicines.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, new team member who is keen to develop their career in LC-MS analysis alongside complementary sample preparation techniques, including solid-phase extraction and liquid-liquid extraction.  Working with human biological samples (in a GCP compliant laboratory) you will help develop, troubleshoot and validate LC-MS methods to support PK biomarker/endpoints.

The role is highly technical and dynamic as you will be working in a number of multi-disciplinary project teams. You will thrive in this environment if you are able to effectively manage multiple priorities, communicate your recommendations clearly, and enjoy working in teams.

Please Note:  The successful applicant will initially be based at GSK’s Ware R&D site.  The team is due to relocate to the Stevenage site during Q2 and/or Q3 of 2021 (circa April to September time-frame).  Please consider the commute/travel when applying for the role (this role is an on-site position).

The successful applicants will be joining a highly energized and committed department and will receive a range of development opportunities from formal training packages to on-the-job training.
