    What will you do?

    • Apply problem solving every day in an exciting and challenging role, executing your passion for protecting worker health and the environment
    • Gain hands-on knowledge and experience of EHS, carrying out programmes of work, communications, safety leadership and technical projects to keep our people, their families, and the community healthy and safe.
    • Through your work assignments both as an individual and part of a team, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our manufacturing, R&D sites, and global support functions meet environment laws and regulations, building trust with our employees, customers & patients.
    • Learn how to create & implement effective Risk Assessments and supporting risk management decision-making.
    • Investigate and examine our workplace for hazards and potential danger, recommending and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
    • Use data for decision making; introduce new technologies and techniques to anticipate and control potentially dangerous situations.
    • Areas of work could include: health and safety for those working in labs, manufacturing, office and remote, air quality, risk assessments including of hazardous agents, hazardous waste management and emergency response planning
    • Opportunity to work with senior managers and leaders in EHS and associated areas.
    • Experience a breadth of EHS Tech Specialisms e.g. Process Safety, Ergonomics, Fire Safety; occupational hygiene; environmental management.
    • Opportunities to develop and lead EHS projects in manufacturing/R&D/Support Functions & Sustainability
    • Work towards internationally recognised EHS Qualification (e.g. NEBOSH)
