SRG are looking for Summer Placement students within Law for GSK, based in London.
Job Title: Legal - Research & Development and Global Commercial Therapy Areas - Summer Placement Programme, UK - 2022
Degree requirements: You will have: (i) completed an undergraduate degree in law or equivalent; and (ii) be studying or have completed the Legal Practice Course, or have at least a year of paralegal experience.
Start date: July 2022.
Location: Greater London and remote working.
Salary: £22,500

We provide legal support to GSK's research & development and global commercial product teams across a wide range of legal matters, with staff based in the US, UK, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland and Croatia. We deliver proactive, strategic legal support to the business to achieve research & development objectives, and to conduct commercial and medical activities for our marketed medicines. Our work is wide-ranging, challenging, and incredibly rewarding!
What will you do?
In this placement, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the provision of high-quality legal advice and proactive, strategic legal support. This could include a wide variety of legal topics, including the laws and regulations on clinical trials, the rules on the promotion of medicines, data privacy, dispute resolution, the provision of legal training to the business, and intellectual property.
- Embedding with the business to provide real-time advice.
- Legal project management.
- Contract drafting.
- Legal research.
- Working with stakeholders at different levels across the business.
You will be guaranteed the opportunity to develop both technical and interpersonal skills with team members and clients across the globe, as well as the chance to gain an understanding of the workings and processes of a leading global pharmaceutical company.
