Our approach to R&D focuses on science related to the prevention and treatment of disease with vaccines, specialty and general medicines. We focus on science of the immune system, human genetics and advanced technologies to impact health at scale. Our pipeline currently comprises of more than 60 vaccines and medicines across four core therapeutic areas including oncology, infectious diseases, immunology / respiratory and HIV. The Patient Focused Development (PFD) Team is responsible for championing optimal patient engagement across the research and development organisation to improve patient experience and outcomes. This pioneering work covers working with many teams across GSK as well as individual patients and patient organisations.
As part of this team
- You would be a member of a small dynamic global team with clear specific responsibilities.
- You would be at the core of GSK’s ambitious for patients work.
- You would support the delivery of a series of patient advisory board meetings.
- You would assist in the delivery of the annual patient organisation disclosure of funding process on gsk.com.
- You would be a member of and support the running of the global GSK Patient Affairs Network made up of GSK representatives from across the world.
- You would receive thorough patient centricity training as well as the opportunity to interact with patients and patient organisations and learn about how GSK works with these important stakeholders.
