    Our approach to R&D focuses on science related to the prevention and treatment of disease with vaccines, specialty and general medicines. We focus on science of the immune system, human genetics and advanced technologies to impact health at scale. Our pipeline currently comprises of more than 60 vaccines and medicines across four core therapeutic areas including oncology, infectious diseases, immunology / respiratory and HIV.     Working closely with the Strategic Technology and Collaborations Manager (Portfolio and Technology Delivery, Medicine Development & Supply) would allow you to use your scientific and business mindset to practical applications within the team, such as supporting the evaluation of external collaboration proposals, and liaising with internal stakeholders for knowledge sharing

    The role is not lab-based although prior experience with laboratory practices in chemistry for small molecules, and/or biology experiments aiming producing large molecules (ie.: mAbs) would be favourable, but not mandatory

    The role is to support R&D collaborations assessment and monitoring. For instance, supporting to prospect key performance indicators (KPIs) across the collaborations we have available at present. KPIs such as sustainability, reduction of production time, reduction of cost of goods, alignment with R&D goals across different departments, etc.

    In parallel, the role has potential to support with communication around these collaborations, and the culture of sharing success associated within the external collaborations’ space.

    There will be some level of administrative tasks around collaboration project management, therefore candidates should be open to develop a business mindset as well. The student joining will benefit from coaching and working very closely with line manager for your development.
