    Our Future Leaders graduate programme will challenge and support you to grow professionally and personally. You will have three challenging rotations in business-critical roles where you will have the opportunity to meet senior leaders and network with other graduates. You will also improve your technical skills while gaining valuable leadership expertise.

    What will you do?

    The Workplace Real Estate and Facilities (WREF) organization oversees and operates 16 million square feet of space with over 65,000 facilities assets, including all R&D laboratory and pilot plant facilities, with an insured asset value of over £3billion. One day you could be working on a design project with a multi-disciplinary team for a state of the art lab, and the next you could be organising an engineering survey using one of our thermal imaging drones. Whatever you do, you will work with talented, dedicated people on projects that will “make a difference to our patients”. Some of your projects may include:

    • Capital project delivery (help manage around £20M budget per annum)
    • Continuous Improvement: Improving our maintenance, operations and ability to adapt to changes in science and technology
    • Reliability engineering looking at equipment uptime and availability
    • Own energy management initiatives and complete sustainability projects
    • Implement smart Automation technologies on site and Cyber Security controls
    • Work towards Chartered Engineer status
