Your new role

Working alongside our digital and social teams you will be expected to help capture and edit outstanding, engaging video content that ensures Global remains at the top of the media industry. You will be creating bespoke content for the Capital brand, working with our presenters as well as ideating, capturing and editing digital ideas with a variety of talent.

Key responsibilities

Video Content Creation (70%)

  • Produce high-quality video content, to distribute across all our social channels as well as Global Player the official Capital app.
  • Set up shoots and operate camera, sound and lighting equipment.
  • Use Adobe Premiere Pro to create visually appealing, engaging videos.
  • Adapt content for various platforms, tailoring edits to maximise audience engagement.

Technical expertise innovation 10

Content Stratergy & Collaboration (20%)

  • Contribute to idea sessions and influence how we can improve our content, edits and how we can make them memorable and shareable.
  • Foster strong relationships across teams to maintain consistent production excellence.
  • Working closely with the Digital Content Producer to create innovative, engaging content.

What you’ll need

  • Passion for Content: A love for pop music and culture and being able to translate that into engaging videos.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential; experience with vision mixing and live streaming is highly desirable.
  • Digital Savvy: Strong understanding of social media platforms and content adaptation.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Attention to Detail: A commitment to maintaining high production standards across all projects.
  • Flexibility & Positivity: Willingness to tackle new challenges with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Got your eye on a role?

The process

  • Submit application

    If one of our roles has caught your eye, the first step is to submit your application. You’ll be asked for a CV, and sometimes a cover letter too. We love nothing more than seeing what you’re passionate about, so portfolios, videos and demos are always a great addition at this stage.
  • If we think you’re a great fit, one of our team will get in touch for a chat. This will usually be an informal call, where we get to know each other a little better. After this, you’ll go into a first stage interview with the hiring team.

    Interview and meet the team

    This is where you’ll meet your potential manager, and some of your teammates. Sometimes these interviews include a task to complete ahead of time, which you’ll run through in the session. Aside from the task, it’s a good idea to look through our values and see how they align with your own. We also love questions — so don’t forget to use this as an opportunity to interview us too.

    Whats next

    After all interviews are completed, we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible. This is usually within a few weeks of applying, and slightly longer for busier roles. If our stars align, our recruitment team will be in touch with the good news! They’ll talk you through the next steps, like signing your contract and the onboarding process. If you’re not successful this time round, it's likely that you’d be great for another position so we would love to keep in touch!
