Deliver financial analysis and reports to management, responsible for Creditors ledger and associated transactions, supporting the Management accountant on a day-to-day basis.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly revenue / COS re-class journals as required
- Post Intercompany recharges
- Post Freight accruals and prepayment journals and prepare relevant balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month end Trade payables activities
- Assist with month end Inter- company balance reconciliation
- Agreement of inter-company debtor / creditor balances,
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliation of Fixed Assets, creditors and debtor ledgers
- Maintain lease schedule and post IFRS 16 journals and balance sheet recs
- To provide ad hoc support to financial controller as required.
Skills knowledge expertise
Required education and qualifications
- Finance graduate/ part qualified accountant
- Ideally experienced using JDE or Oracle based systems
- Previous experience as assistant accountant supporting month end closing
- Knowledge of IFRS 16 and IFRS 15 would be useful
- Good knowledge of business finance processes and internal controls

- Ability to manage own workload to ensure effective control and management of debtor & creditor ledgers and complete transaction processing
- Ability to meet deadlines & prioritise, particularly at month end, and influence colleagues who impact the finance processes
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow up and resolve supplier queries
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel and ERP systems
- Methodical and proactive approach to work
