    • IT support in a Helpdesk environment
    • Software support to Gordons Chemists employees
    • Software configuration on user PC’s and Servers
    • Hardware support to Gordons Chemists employees
    • Hardware configuration
    • Configuration of Smartphones
    • Network configuration
    • Network support
    • To Assist with IT related project work
    • To liaise and assist Tier 2 support
    • To liaise and assist the IT Manager

    Essential Requirements

    • Currently studying a graduate course in a computing or IT related discipline
    • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook etc.
    • Excellent working knowledge of PC hardware and Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 10).
    • Highly developed telephone etiquette, good reporting and presentation skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure.
    • Strong problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Flexible to travel to branches/access to transport

    Desirable Criteria

    • Awareness or working knowledge of client server environment and networking configuration.
    • Awareness or working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (MS Windows Server 2008R2, 2012, 2016 2019)
    • Awareness or working knowledge of VPN, VLAN and WLAN
    • Awareness or working knowledge of Microsoft 365
    • Awareness or working knowledge of virtualization technologies e.g. VMware ESXi
    • Awareness or working knowledge of WIFI
    • Experience in retail
