Due to growth, Gravit8 are looking for a new team member to join our fantastic team in a highly rewarding creative software sales career.

    The primary role is to generate, nurture, and grow their own portfolio of account customers; sourcing new business leads and then growing them into long term, strategic partnerships. The AM is accountable for the effective management of these accounts, creating repeat ordering clients of our tailored and bespoke interactive digital products. The role will give the candidate a profit based commission package, as well as plenty of opportunity to inject their own creative ideas, and work with the ideas factory and existing products of the fantastic team we have here at Gravit8.

    Key responsibilities and accountabilities

    • Develop new business, grow & retain relationships with key clients from their own leads, and nurture any leads that may be provided to them from within other areas of the business, or inbound/outbound marketing efforts.
    • Work closely with, and be able to effectively communicate, ideate and explain digital products and services with customers, and the internal pm, dev and design teams within Gravit8.
    • Learn and follow the Gravit8 sales and account management process, to maximise customer service, grow relationships, and ultimately drive sales revenue
    • Be able to form and nurture strong, friendly working relationships with customers and key contacts within target customers/accounts.
    • Ownership & leadership of your projects and accounts from a relationship, sales, and delivery perspective.
    • Support the wider team to achieve the targets set - contributing to the overall company goals.
    • Alongside the project management team, be accountable for operational efficiency with correct Gross Margins across their portfolio.
    • Liaise directly with customers on & off site, and visiting clients premises on a regular basis
    • Weekend working and international travel where and when required.
    • Work within a sustainable manner / approach.
    • To deliver all set KPi’s.
    • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly check-ins, sales meetings, and reporting on their leads, activity, and 6-month pipeline.

    • The mindset to relish (rather than fear!) working in tight-knit highly skilled and creative team, under pressure of tight deadlines, whilst working on bespoke, innovative digital (and sometimes cutting edge R&D type projects!) within a fast paced environment… This is the buzz (and the biggest reward) for those in the G8 team!
    • Must be highly organised, self-driven, and be extremely diligent at customer follow-up
    • Service first: Ensure all customer details and needs are met and exceeded. Emphasis on ‘client focus’.
    • Must have the personality and strength of character to help lead and guide clients through what could be their first (or 100th!) commission of a bespoke digital project
    • Must have the commercial strength to discuss, acquire or set client budgets in calls ad face to face - having the skills to negotiate where needed, whilst maintaining profit margins
    • Must have the resilience and strength of character required for new business sales; i.e: Be able to keep plugging away to initiate and grow relationships, speaking to and meeting clients regularly to grow them into profitable accounts
    • A level of interpersonal skills sufficient to enable the post holder to establish and maintain credibility with the most senior internal and external contacts.
    • Ability to make key commercial decisions to help meet both external and internal budgets.
    • Bespoke / Solution sales experience is an advantage, but not mandatory (particularly in Interactive Digital)
    • Exhibition or events experience is a clear advantage, but can be gained at Gravit8
