    The Role

    The role sits within the Client Leadership team, currently overseeing the General Mills, Zespri, and United Nation. As part of a wider portfolio of clients ranging from Luxury to Tourism and FMCG, new opportunities will further arise in the next months, with the possibility to further broaden the experience within our portfolio.

    Across General Mills and Zespri, the Account Executive is responsible for market coordination, strategic support, innovation and thought leadership, with the ambition to drive growth and success for the businesses. Additionally, the Account Executive will support with monitoring and reporting of media investments and performance across the region. Within these two accounts, you will work across different teams and specialists to build your media knowledge, planning for the bigger picture and make that into a reality.

    For United Nations / UNICEF, the team is responsible for media planning and buying for their global campaigns. There would be opportunities to network and build relationships with publishers to create the best campaign strategy for the account. You will work closely with the creative agency team in creating the most exciting campaigns to generate UNICEF partnerships to help children around the world.

    The Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate will possess some experience in paid media and know the basics on the subject. A keenness to learn and being quick to learn is a must.

    Essential Criteria

    • Genuine interest in media with a desire to develop paid media knowledge.
    • A ‘can-do’ attitude and keenness to learn. Proactively research on current and future trends in media.
    • Comfortable with numbers with analytical capabilities.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills and can effectively manage their time.
    • Proficient user in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

    Desirable Criteria

    • Media agency experience would be an advantage but not essential.
    • Client experience with experience presenting to clients.
    • Experience working with FMCG / Luxury clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Client Leadership and Coordination: Drive and support media innovations in the account, including work around media decarbonzation.
    • Market Coordination: Be the point of contact across 16+ global markets, sharing global requests and comms and offer support to markets. Keep track of investments across markets with MAP (Mindshare’s Media Activity Planner tool).
    • Media Planning & Buying: Review media proposal and create a media plan based on campaign objectives.
    • Campaign Activation: Oversee implementation and set up of campaigns. Work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure all assets are developed on time. Optimize campaigns where appropriate to ensure delivery and performance.
    • Campaign Reporting: Create regional post campaign analysis, analyse data and performance to draw actionable insight and learnings.
