This role is designed to be a critical member of the European OpenMind team and is required to take responsibility for the management of the development of technology programs of work for our client.
Overview
The OpenMind Junior Technical Project Manager role will report to the Senior Technology Project Manager and work closely with a variety of capability units within OpenMind as well as work closely with our GDS and Technology teams to assist in driving measurable business growth for our client. Through proprietary tools, partnerships, processes and training, OpenMind delivers industry leading solutions for our client with global scale, accounting for local nuance, and effectiveness.
The Junior Technical Project Manager will utilize their experience in data and technology to manage the technology programs of work through regular stakeholder management and status reports. Reporting into the European Technology Lead, the Technical Project Manager will ensure the desired platform requirements from both business and technology perspective are delivered. It is important that this resource works with business stakeholders to define and document requirements and in some cases needed to create functional specifications. The role will require detailed “project planning and gantt charts”, management of regular SCRUM meetings, “meeting minute” capture with “actions” as a priority after all meetings as well as status reports for executive sponsorship teams.
You will develop and lead relationships with a variety of capability and market teams to help deliver against the OpenMind Technology program of work for Europe.
The role will require an understanding of media, different data types that can be used to fuel insights into consumer behaviors/trends as well as the performance of media and marketing investment. An entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and problem-solving is necessary to be successful in this role. Business stakeholders will expect a detail oriented individual who has a “can do attitude” to understand the intricacies of the projects within the program of work and the ability to lead conversations with the client where needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the continued enhancement of our data and technology initiatives fueling reporting, insights, measurement & analytics capabilities to a best-in-class level through Data Integration.
- Support relationships with clients, partners and internal to unlock and set-up optimal processes for collaboration between OpenMind and the client.
- Support the rollout of reporting solutions and business intelligence platforms by identifying opportunities for integration of media, client, and retail data sets: market share, digital shelf, retail search, programmatic commerce, and more.
- Experience in data & technology program design and implementation
- Understanding of API’s and data engineering to support the successful delivery of data warehousing activities
- Stay informed on latest industry trends/innovations to uncover new data opportunities and drive new initiatives that contribute to product enhancements in line with client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across markets to support delivery
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience delivering technology programs of work
- Experience in the media industry is a plus.
- Skills in all Microsoft Office applications for the creation of reports, presentations, and analyses including advanced Excel functions and formulas, pivot tables, Power Pivot, and Power Query.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, WRIKE and / or similar programs for project management and Gantt Chart creation
- Understanding of technical projects such as data warehousing, reporting, application development desired.
- Experience synthesizing a variety of different project types and conversations into logical, concise, and actionable conclusions.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills at all levels; ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
