The Tech Operations Placement Programme is an integral part of the Gymshark Tech Ops Team who work across all areas of the business to keep our family technically equipped, effective and prepared to fulfil our mission to unite the conditioning community.
Our 13-month program will cover disciplines from learning how Gymshark’s computer systems are maintained and operated reliably, to developing your skills in setting up and maintaining company hardware and software. You will learn how to perform regular system and security checks and monitoring, as well as supporting the development and maintenance of relevant procedures and standards.

Placement Start Date: 1st July, 2024
Placement Duration: 13 Months (includes a one-month handover with the current placement student!)
Location: Solihull, UK
Closing Date: Sunday 5th November, Midnight (Applications may close before the deadline, so please apply early to avoid disappointment)
Assessment Centre Date: 12th December, 2023 (At Gymshark HQ, Solihull)
What you’ll learn
You will gain experience in:
- The setup, issue and support of MAC/Windows, iOS and Android devices.
- Employee onboarding and training with software and hardware.
- Research into new technologies to help improve business/staff productivity.
- Providing daily employee support for Gymshark software/hardware (including emergencies) via Gymshark’s IT service management system.
- How to maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of PC’s and printers.
- How to administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
- Supporting AV, Security and Contactless Systems Plus, LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
- Communicating critical information to supervisors, making suggestions for how to improve where needed (we always love new ideas!)
- Maintaining all relevant Gymshark procedures and standards.

TO BE ELIGIBLE, YOU MUST:
✅ Be currently studying an undergraduate degree at university
✅ Be able to take 13 months out to do a year in industry before going back for your final year
✅ Have the right to work in the UK (unfortunately we cannot provide sponsorship for placement students)
✅ Be happy to work from our HQ campus in Solihull, West Midlands
✅ Be ready to start from July 2024
