    We are seeking Graduate Structural Design Engineers to join our dynamic team. Reporting day-to-day to the Senior Engineers, you will play a key role in developing our design packages. You will ensure that projects are delivered with technical accuracy, commercial viability, and adherence to programme deadlines.

    Key responsibilities

    • Technical Design: develop structural designs using relevant software such as SCIA Engineer, Tekla, AutoCAD, and IDEA StatiCa.
    • Standards Compliance: ensure designs align with client specifications, current standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaboration: working as part of our established design team, you will collaborate closely with other designers, detailing, production, and fabrication teams to produce cost-effective and safe designs tailored to manufacturing and installation needs.

    What we are looking for

    Qualifications

    • MEng in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (BEng will be considered).
    • Willingness to work towards chartership (ICE, IStructE).
    • Knowledge of the use of structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA) (ideally SCIA Engineer and IDEA StatiCa) would be of use.
    • Familiarity of 3D CAD modelling or detailing software (preferably Tekla Structures) and AutoCAD for 2D CAD drawings

    Technical skills

    • Required knowledge of structural steelwork design.
    • Preferred experience of detailed design, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
    • Preferred experience in creating technical reports.
    • Ability to interpret and produce accurate technical drawings.
    • Familiarity with industry standards, codes of practice, and regulations, including Eurocodes.
