The audit trainee role offers a competitive salary and combines work experience with fully paid study support that will take you to completion of ACA.
The position would suit a graduate who is looking to start their career within the accountancy field. You will work with our team and our clients to provide support with year-end accounts and audit through our Cloud based technology – at client premises, working from home or in the office.

About you
We are looking for an articulate, confident and organised individual to join the team to assist us in achieving our strategic goal of being the number one advisor to owner managed businesses.
Strong academic performance is important for those who work in audit and complete the ACA professional qualification. However, our recruitment process will also look at other experiences in which you’ve grown and developed. We will balance your academic results alongside our own assessments within our recruitment process to ensure that the role is suitable for you.
Examples of day-to-day activities include
- Carrying out analytics/controls/substantive audit testing using a mix of Cloud, AI and traditional techniques in relation to statutory and non-statutory audits as part of a team based offsite at client premises/working from home/working from the office as required.
- Attending client stock takes under supervision and by yourself.
- Preparing analyses and making postings using the firm’s accounting software to produce draft financial statements in statutory format.
- Progressing through the audit team as experience is gained will increase exposure to project management.
