A career in CBIA where none of us stand still
We have a number of roles available across various areas/disciplines within the Global CBIA (Consumer Business Insights & Analytics) team.
CBIA drives the Deeper Human Understanding of our business, by conducting research with consumers and Experts/HealthCare Professionals to investigate their needs and test our innovations and campaigns, and by analysing data to understand Haleon’s sales performance, the effectiveness of its marketing and more.
CBIA has a global remit which requires not only the ability to effectively manage relationships with teams across different countries but also a good understanding of different data sources and market dynamics.
What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?
Help to develop and support the CBIA teams in their delivery of insights, analytics and related projects.
Key responsibilities will include a selection from the following, depending on the role we match your application to:
- Partner with others across the world both in global and local Business Unit teams, also with cross-functional teams including members of Haleon Marketing and R&D, and with our external partner agencies.
- Support training of CBIA and other Haleon teams, and support them in incorporating new and existing tools and methods into their ways of working
- Collect information and take briefs from key stakeholders, write clear and concise research briefs
- Manage projects such as market research, or analysis of information sources
- Manage good working relationships with key agency partners, to ensure smooth running of projects to meet objectives
- Use agile digital research tools to keep up to date with market trends and social activity (e.g. Ipsos Digital, Zappi, Google Trends)
- Give recommendations based on market research findings and/or analysis of data
- Help expedite the addition of new Brand Market Combinations to our global Insight and Analytics Products such as our Always-On Market Mix Modelling, ensure business questions are answered and drive engagement with the workstreams
- Own and manage our capability calendar for the year and key elements of our capability program including sections of our online CBIA Academy and market-leading Mini-MBA programme, ensuring we offer the best training to CBIA and the broader business
- Support the team in driving a more agile and efficient working approach across CBIA
- Help the team to Drive Deeper Human Understanding which identifies growth insights, leading to impactful ideas and solutions that can deliver a major transformation in building brands with humanity
- Help identify and embed KPIs and metrics that enable us to identify the impact of our work and course correct as necessary

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:
Education required
- You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of a degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology or a related field, but will not have graduated at the start of your placement.
- You may be expected to provide evidence from your university to show you will be an undergraduate student for the duration of the placement year and they are supportive of your placement.
Other requirements
- Good level of Microsoft office skills - including Excel and PowerPoint
If you have any of the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience with using data from either search or social intelligence
- Some knowledge of advertising/media
- Some knowledge of MMM or econometrics
