We’re currently looking for a placement student in the role of Trade Funds Analyst withing the GB & Ireland Commercial market to join us for career defining work.
A career in Finance where none of us stand still
The trade funds analyst role sits within the Commercial finance team of the GB & Ireland local commercial market. This is one of the larger Haleon markets with responsibility for the Sales, marketing and distribution of a broad range of Haleon brands including Sensodyne, Corsodyl, Voltarol and Centrum to name a few.
This is a great role to get hands on commercial finance experience in a sophisticated and mature market. It will suit an individual who is enthusiastic to learn and contribute at many levels within the GB and Irish commercial businesses. You will have the opportunity to make a difference, add value and leave a legacy during your time in this role. Furthermore, this will give you invaluable experience, helping you in those all-important final year interviews and beyond as you continue your career after university. No specific accounting knowledge is required, full training and support is provided but experience through previous roles, internships or relevant learning/degree work will help in picking up and getting up to speed more quickly.
What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?
Core responsibilities will include:
- Month end close, journals & reconciliations
- Daily Sales reporting, weekly forecasting & insights
- Back-office management of c. £82m of trade spend
- EComm channel P&L reporting & insights
- Net Revenue analysis and evaluation
- Partnering with the GB & Ireland Sales & NRM teams as well as working with more broadly with stakeholders at different levels across the business
- Specific ad hoc projects
