Join our Global Business Intelligence team based at Haleon based in London for a 12-month industrial placement starting in July 2025.
At a glance
You’ll join a close-knit team within Global Business Intelligence (GBI), working on exciting projects that span across Haleon’s global business and brands. From day one, you’ll be part of key strategic initiatives, gaining insights into how Haleon performs on a global scale.
As a Global Reporting & Data Management Placement Student, you’ll take on a global role, collaborating with teams from different countries and handling market sales data across various regions. You’ll work closely with our team to support the delivery of global reports for senior stakeholders at regional, category, and global levels. Your contributions will help shape data-driven narratives, identify opportunities, and flag potential risks.
Throughout your placement, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Assisting in the creation and delivery of global reports for senior stakeholders, consulting on data insights, opportunities, and risks.
- Partnering with internal teams to ensure consistency in reporting and analysis, delivering accurate and clear messages to senior leaders.
- Contributing to the vision of next-generation performance reporting, including performance diagnostics, data management, and data visualization.
- Collaborating across multiple teams to strengthen relationships, ensuring smooth communication between global teams and business units.
Education requirements

- Some skills and qualities that would be a plus include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Interest in market sales and market share data (e.g., NielsenIQ, Circana).
- Experience or interest in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Curiosity about generative AI and how it can be used in business.
- If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree, you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university.
- Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

Application process
The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:
- Application: You will need to provide information about your education and Right to Work status.
- Online Assessment: You will complete an online assessment that includes an interview.
- Recruiter Screening: If selected, an Early Talent Partner will contact you to discuss your application and motivation for joining Haleon.
- Interview: If shortlisted, you will be invited to a virtual interview, which will include a competency-based interview and may involve a case study or technical exercise.
- Offer: Candidates will be notified of the outcome within two weeks of the interview
