Right now we’re looking for industrial placement students in Process Engineer to join us to do career defining work.

    A career in Oral Health R&D where none of us stand still

    You will be working as Process Engineer in the Oral Health scale-up team. The Scale-up team support the New Product Development department in scaling up products that were developed in Weybridge lab. Scaling-up processes from lab scale will allow Haleon to launch New Products in a large scale, to factories around the world, to attend the increasing demand of Oral Health Products.

    • You will have the opportunity of a real life experience, where you will be working under specific timelines of critical deliveries to allow  Haleon’s  New Product launches in a competitive market;
    • Some of these products might be well known to you, like Aquafresh, Corsodyl and Sensodyne;

    What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?

    • You will support the team delivering an array of activities, including -but not restricted to- developing:
      • Raw Material Risk Assessments;
      • Process Risk Assessment
      • Technical Risk Assessment
      • Batch Manufacturing Instructions
      • Design of Experiment
      • Scale-up Processes from lab to pilot plant
      • Scale-up Processes from pilot plant to full manufacturing scale
      • Equipment Validation & Cleaning Validation

    • Comfortable operating processing equipment and an ability to quickly learn new equipment.
    • Ability to adjust working plans and manage time to accommodate the dynamic nature of real-life projects.
    • Able to manage workload (includes time management), and build working relationships within multifunctional teams.
    • Computer literate – able to operate email, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

    Education required

    You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree, but will not have graduated at the start of your placement. You may be expected to provide evidence from your university to show you will be an undergraduate student for the duration of the placement year and they are supportive of your placement.
