The Programme Management Office (PMO) sits within Environment & Place directorate and supports the delivery of a half a billion-pound plus capital infrastructure programme over the coming years.
About the role
You will be employed through Oxfordshire County Council having an oversight of the infrastructure programmes schemes and supporting Project Managers and Programme Leads with accurate reporting and keeping project information up to date.
The individual will have strong IT skills and experience in using a range of IT applications to analyse data, monitor finances and produce reports.
You will report, track and ensure schemes are managed in a controlled way. The PMO team will make sure that the Council's Governance and Compliance standards are applied to processes.

About you
We are seeking an organised individual with sound knowledge of IT applications, programme and project management and business processes.
You will work closely with the Infrastructure Delivery Team, Scheme officers and Leadership team on several large-scale projects, ensuring that projects are reported on accurately in terms of overall timing, budget and deliverables. A very good understanding of excel and other MS Office suite products is key.
This role is ideally suited to a motivated, confident individual, with self-starter capabilities, comfortable at working alone as well as part of a team.
