    Role Description

    This role will work with our clients in the Chinese market and is a rare chance to use your research skills in a growing international market.You will have the opportunity to learn, write and talk about some of the most promising new medicines in oncology, neurology and inflammatory disease.

    What You'll Do

    You will:

    • Be responsible for supporting the UK-based and KPO Res Ops teams in solving queries related to Chinese information
    • Curate and maintain data from Chinese sources Collaborate with the module account managers to support sales opportunities
    • Stay up to date with the scientific and commercial developments in the Chinese medical product field
    • Provide analytical reports as required in a timely fashion
    • Track relevant Chinese data from various sources and monitor the Chinese drug developers’ landscape
    • Advise on content and technology development Undertake both prospective and retrospective QA Fulfil relevant Ask-An-Analyst requests
    • Assist in the creation of a new module related to the data from the Chinese sources Be responsible for delivery of accurate, timely trusted and valued Beacon content from Chinese sources for all Beacon modules
    • Maintain the quality of content from Chinese sources for all Beacon modules Maintain and develop relationships with all module researchers and module account managers

    Who You Are

    What will define a successful candidate:

    • Fluent Mandarin language abilities Strong life science academic credentials
    • A masters or PhD is preferred Excellent communication
    • Whether it be colleagues or clients there will be a wide variety of complex issues to decipher and communicate solutions for
    • Flexibility:
      • As a start-up division within a broader enterprise there will be plenty of change and a need to work across a whole variety of clients and projects
    • Motivation:
      • You’ll have autonomy from the get-go so being organised and proactive is vital

      • Strong attention to detail and high delivery standards

    • Experience:
      • It’s desirable to have 0-2 years of prior internship or project-based work experience in industry, consulting or market research.

    In addition familiarity with clinical research, drug development, and/or commercialization processes is preferred
