About the Role
This role sits in our Beacon team. Beacon is a SaaS product that is rapidly expanding across the pharmaceutical industry. Our intelligence team is pivotal in keeping Beacon competitive. This role is a chance to join this awesome team and work with one of our fastest growing markets! You will:
- Be responsible for supporting the UK-based and KPO Res Ops teams in solving queries
- Curate and maintain data
- Collaborate with the module account managers to support sales opportunities
- Stay up to date with the scientific and commercial developments in the medical product field
- Provide analytical reports as required in a timely fashion
- Track relevant data from various sources and monitor the drug developers’ landscape
- Advise on content and technology development
- Undertake both prospective and retrospective QA
- Fulfil relevant Ask-An-Analyst requests
- Assist in the creation of a new module related to the data
- Be responsible for delivery of accurate, timely trusted and valued Beacon content
- Maintain and develop relationships with all module researchers and module account managers
What will define a successful candidate
- Strong life science academic credentials: A masters or PhD is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication: Whether it be colleagues or clients there will be a wide variety of complex issues to decipher and communicate solutions for
- Flexibility: As a start-up division within a broader enterprise there will be plenty of change and a need to work across a whole variety of clients and projects
- Motivation: You’ll have autonomy from the get-go so being organised and proactive is vital
- Conscientious: Strong attention to detail and high delivery standards
- Commercialism: A focus on why things matter in the real world and who needs what underpins everything we do
- Experience: It’s desirable to have 0-2 years of prior internship or project-based work experience in industry, consulting or market research. In addition familiarity with clinical research, drug development, and/or commercialization processes is preferred
