    We are looking for an ambitious marketing graduate to join our marketing team based in Worcester. You will be a self-starter, who is keen to get stuck in, put your knowledge into practise and share your ideas.

    The role

    This role will kick-start your marketing career. You will not only produce and schedule digital marketing content, but you will also report on its performance and make suggestions and changes based on this.

    HCR and its companies produce high volumes of digital content including articles, events, videos, podcasts and more, to achieve varying objectives from profile raising to lead generation. Your job is to know this content inside-out, maximise its use and impact via digital marketing activities, report on its effectiveness and recommend areas of improvement.

    Specific responsibilities include

    Social media

    • Manage the social media posting schedule(s) which includes: maintaining high quality (check images/ posts), tagging, posting frequency and times
    • Provide social media advice to teams, and some training
    • Communicate with teams to drive up firm-wide engagement with digital activity so our reach and impact is maximised
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest changes in social media
    • Occasionally produce social copy that is relevant, engaging and effective for our audiences
    • Own the social media schedule and content to ensure our feeds are reflective of a UK top 60 law firm and push back when quality and content isn’t of a high enough standard

    Pay per click

    • Proactively advise on effective PPC campaigns – both Google Adwords and paid social to achieve varying objectives including lead generation and awareness raising
    • Produce useful reporting and insight
    • Ensure continuous best performance/ value for money, and achievement of objectives

    Multi-channel campaigns

    • Work with others in CMT, e.g. Campaigns Executive/ Marketing Managers, to develop digital customer journeys to ensure they are as effective as possible and achieve our end goals

    Websites

    • Using tools to recommend keywords and article titles that will improve SEO
    • Optimising content – understanding our objectives, working through digital customer journeys, and adding keywords/ making copy or layout adjustments to improve landing page and content performance
    • Uploading content to our website when required

    Reporting

    • You will be our ‘go-to’ expert on digital reporting across all channels and you’ll be able to articulate any insights to the team and elsewhere in the firm
    • Be able to work towards reporting deadlines and provide ad hoc reporting support when needed
    • Using data and Analytics to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and commission campaign materials/ copy or other content/ or development, ensuring content is always current and helps meet our strategic objectives.

    Support the delivery of other marketing activities as required, e.g. events.

    About You

    You will have:

    • A degree or equivalent in marketing
    • Have had some previous practical exposure to digital marketing and content
    • Analytical mind – able to interrogate data and produce articulate insight. This is key to the success of this role
    • Experience using SEO tools, Google AdWords, Analytics, and Microsoft programmes would be advantageous, as would Adobe Creative Suite, WP Engine, Zapier, Dot Digital, Wordpress
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of an organisation
    • Team player, willing to get stuck in and do what is needed to ensure the team and firm succeeds
    • Excellent eye for detail
    • Ability to handle pressure and retain your sense of humour/ professionalism at all times.
