Hart Reade LLP are seeking to recruit a part time Marketing Assistant.
The Marketing Assistant will support our Marketing Partner in the co-ordination of marketing activities, with the overall aim of strengthening the firm’s brand, forging new contacts and driving new business to the firm.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Field marketing enquiries, taking details and providing reports to the Marketing Partner for consideration.
- Proof reading and distributing press releases as required.
- Arrange advertising in local media as instructed and ensure copy deadlines are met.
- Check regular publications, updating advertisements where necessary and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Liaising with our SEO/web design company as required, and communicating information to others in the firm.
- Assisting in the checking of posts for social media.
- Preparing information to be added to the website.
- Ensuring office display information and signage is kept up to date.
- Sourcing, checking and ordering new marketing materials and equipment as instructed.
- Liaising with our in house Charity Committee and assisting where necessary.
- Co-ordinating the firm’s sponsorship/attendance at networking events, as well as organising our own events.
- Attending key marketing events as may be required.
- Checking invoices for approval.
- In conjunction with the Marketing Partner, working to the Marketing budget set by the Partners.
- To develop and maintain professional relationships with contacts and colleagues.
- To attend monthly marketing meetings – prepare agenda and produce minutes and action lists for follow up.
Previous marketing experience is not required. However, candidates must be organised and pro-active; with good written and spoken communication skills, good computer skills and a keen attention to detail.
This is a part time position (2 days per week; 14.5 hours) based at our Eastbourne office. We are open to discussing working patterns and hybrid working for this role. Some travel to our branch offices, and overtime for key marketing events may be required.
Office Assistant
Hart Reade LLP are seeking to recruit a full time Office Assistant.
The successful candidate will support the efficient operation of our busy offices under the supervision of the Practice Manager. The role is based in our Eastbourne office but you will be required to work from time to time in our other offices in Meads, Polegate and Hailsham.
This is a varied and active role that will require someone self-motivated, with excellent organisation skills, the ability to multi-task and with strong attention to detail. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills; with the confidence and ability to converse clearly with clients, colleagues and third party suppliers and contractors.
The role will include assisting with the facilities management of the practice; dealing with assigned projects from research through to completion. The successful candidate should have strong IT skills (preferably with a GCSE/A-Level qualification or equivalent experience), with a view to supporting the Practice Manager in computer troubleshooting across all offices and liaising with our external IT support company.
The Office Assistant will also be working with our HR & Administration Manager, Administration Assistant and our Receptionist. Responsibilities will also include duties such as; regularly covering our switchboard and front desk; collecting and dispatching post; photocopying/scanning; file archiving, retrieval and destruction; ordering stationery and supplies as requested; running errands, and a host of other tasks which help make the offices run smoothly.
This role would be suitable for a candidate interested in developing a career in business administration.
