Hasbro SA, based in Delemont Switzerland, manufactures and sells Hasbro toy and games products around the world. Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA’s distributor in Europe, which sells to Hasbro SA’s customers in all major European countries. Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') is Hasbro SA's distributor for Direct/FOB sales in Europe. Hasbro UK Ltd ('the Company') provides sales, marketing and other services to HET and HIT in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Intern to join our Northern Europe Marketing team. The successful candidate will support the Brand team across a number of initiatives; brand planning, media planning, internal and external presentations related to Nerf and other fantastic brands, and will work alongside a skilled team of Brand and Marketing Managers who will support their growth and development.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Brand team to help understand brand performance: listings, NPD, Rate of Sale, media delivery
- Support Global brand and product plans and any global research
- Presenting plans with the Brand team to internal and external partners
- Support Brand team on local marketing plan for brands: media, consumer and retail promotions, events, in-store, PR
- Support on Preview planning and briefs across the year
- Help the Brand team to implement communication plans including ensuring global adverts are ready to air in local market and manage play out and transmission, media plans
- Localise global web sites and develop additional local web requirements.
- Work with Marketing Coordinators on various admin requests and reports; media spend, briefing documents etc
Skills and experience
- No work experience required, but must be able to demonstrate teamwork and organisational skills through relevant work/university/community project examples
- Any experience of working in a marketing, administrative, customer service or support role is desirable but not essential
- Confident in collating presentation material together and using relevant software (training will be provided for specialist tools)
- Great written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
