    As a Junior Product Owner, you will be facilitating the development and release of new features, digital products and software across our platforms. You’ll gather new requirements from stakeholders and our product managers, then translate them into actionable tasks.

    You will report directly to the Lead Product Manager but will work closely with the whole Technology and Automotive team. Due to the variety of our portfolio you could be supporting Editorial, Marketing, Advertising, Car dealers or Business Intelligence - no two days are the same.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Understand new requirements and translate them into tasks for the development team
    • Assist with the prioritisation of new tasks and monitor the backlog
    • Identify iteration opportunities that align with business goals
    • Support the development team QA and test new features
    • Communicate new releases to the business
    • Analyse the impact of releases on the site(s)
    • Understand and report on our core success metrics
    • Monitor SEO performance and action Google recommendations

    Requirements

    • Previous experience as a Junior Product Manager or Junior Project Manager (1-2 years)
    • Knowledge of Agile process and principles
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills
    • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Previous use of JIRA, Trello and Google Analytics desirable but not essential
