We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Data Analyst to join our small Esher-based team. Capacity Insights is an insurance underwriting business writing, schemes-based accident and health insurance on behalf of Lloyds of London and international insurance companies.
This is a role where you will be working in liaison with the Finance Team and external outsourced service providers, you will be reporting to the Commercial Director.
The ideal candidate will be a numerically gifted, proactive individual who will be able to coordinate the receipt, configuration, and export of commercial data to various internal and external stakeholders. They will be required to provide a professional and high standard of data understanding and accuracy and be able to monitor and communicate the status of various data projects. They will co-ordinate CI projects from concept through to delivery in line with the requirements of the wider business, as well as the needs of our clients and providers.
About the role
Responsibilities:
- To provide data administration support to the underwriting and commercial teams
- Assist with idea creation and specification requirements for appropriate reporting mechanisms and functionality
- Develop and implement data collection systems (in conjunction with Implementation and IT) to optimize data quality and presentation
- Develop guidance for the recording and reporting of trend/spend analysis
- Manage key analytical projects identified and ensure objectives are met
- Undertake excel training/spreadsheet support with other team members as required
- Undertake client mapping analysis
