The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK. Our aim is a healthier population, supported by high quality health care that can be equitably accessed. From giving grants to those working at the front line to carrying out research and policy analysis, we shine a light on how to make successful change happen.

We make links between the knowledge we gain from working with those delivering health and health care and our research and analysis. Our aspiration is to crate a virtuous circle, using what we know works on the ground to inform effective policymaking and vice versa.

We believe good health and health care are key to a flourishing society. Through sharing what we learn, collaborating with others and building people’s skills and knowledge, we aim to make a difference and contribute to a healthier population.

    About the Data Analytics Team

We have a track record in using data to tackle real-world problems, through our in-
house programmes, our partnerships, and the work we do to support better analytics to improve health and care. Our mission is to ensure that analytics and data-driven technology benefits the health of everyone in the UK. We are committed to open analytics and to involving patients and the public in our work.

We know that there is enormous potential to use data to improve health and reduce health inequalities. Robust data and analysis are critical to efforts to improve health and care. Our analysis helps to signal where key health challenges lie, evaluate complex initiatives in health and care to support learning and improvement, and champion the use of data and analytics to inform health and care policy.
