Full-time role (we have a hybrid working model in place at our London office)
The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK. Our aim is a healthier population, supported by high quality health care that can be equitably accessed. From giving grants to those working at the front line to carrying out research and policy analysis, we shine a light on how to make successful change happen. We are now delighted to be recruiting a Research Management Intern.
We value equality, diversity and inclusion, and welcome applications from different backgrounds. For this role, we positively encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from candidates under-represented in social research roles, including disabled people and people from ethnic minorities. We are also committed to making reasonable adjustments for candidates who have accessibility requirements.
The Internship offers a great opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about health and social care research and who want to learn more about commissioning and managing research. It is ideal for recent graduates or those looking to build a career in this area. This is a nine-month internship based within the Research team. The Research team is responsible for commissioning and managing research and evaluation and provides expert advice on designing research and on grants and award management.
The successful candidate will gain experience working with the Research team and colleagues across the organisation on projects spanning a range of topics. They will be supported to develop their research management, and project management and communication skills. This is a development opportunity and the intern will receive mentoring for the duration of the placement. In return, they will be expected to bring enthusiasm, curiosity and a flexible approach to their work.
