    The Lifestyle publishing division at Hearst Magazines UK is home to some of the world’s most iconic and successful magazine brands including Good Housekeeping, Country Living, ELLE Decoration, Prima, Red and House Beautiful. We pride ourselves on giving our readers outstanding quality journalism, originality and unforgettable brand experiences all delivered with passion, creativity, and expertise.

    About The Role

    You will work across Good Housekeeping, Red and Prima, supporting the features team with research, admin and writing duties.

    Key Responsibilities include

    • Ensuring the features team runs smoothly and efficiently by providing administrative support
    • Pitching original features ideas for use across all three titles within the Lifestyle Group
    • Sourcing and interviewing case studies
    • Researching and writing features for each magazine, ensuring a high standard of copy
    • Ensuring the forward planning list is up to date so none of the titles misses a key anniversary or event 
    • Managing reader inboxes and letters pages
    • Maintaining and adhering to all content deadlines
    • Liaising with the art, production and picture departments when required
    • Representing the brands, where appropriate, attending relevant events, including reader events, which may be in the evening
    • Working on supplements and spin-off print products
    • Writing and uploading content to goodhousekeeping.com/uk
    • Reading and monitoring competitive magazines and digital activities within the media to keep abreast of new ideas and trends, and to be aware of the competitive set and developments within your area

    About You

    We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and able generate ideas for a range of features. You must be organised and calm under pressure, tenacious and able to use your own initiative to problem solve. This role will allow you to develop your writing and researching skills. A strong interest in the subject matter and audiences of Good Housekeeping, Red and Prima is key in this role.
