Helix are looking for motivated and creative individuals to join our Design and Analysis Team.

The Design Team at Helix deliver innovative design solutions for world leading electric motor and inverters. We use our proven expertise and experience to rapidly design and procure optimised motors and inverters. Designs are developed using engineering first principles, FEA simulation software and our own core technology calculation tools.

The Analysis team deliver a first class simulation service to configure our core e-Drive technology to meet a customer’s precise performance and package requirements. In addition to utilising commercially available tools, Helix has developed bespoke electro-magnetic tools to optimize performance and ensure our products are lighter, smaller, more power dense and efficient electric motor for any given peak and continuous power requirement in its class.

Throughout your scheme, you will be exposed to a wide variety of placements and activities across your discipline. During these placements you will contribute to the design, development and delivery of our products.

Throughout the two-year scheme, you will be given responsibility and contribute by creating concepts and taking them through all aspects of the engineering journey to manufacture and testing.

Graduates what we are looking for

For the Graduate scheme you will have an outstanding academic record with a minimum of a 2:1 honours degree or equivalent. Applicants should be studying for degree in a relevant engineering or a related scientific subject.

You will have a creative and forward-thinking mentality, be tenacious when solving complex engineering problems and embrace new technologies and challenges as you develop. You will be passionate about engineering for vehicle applications, pro-active and results driven, with a can-do attitude.
