As a Marketing Graduate/Executive you will be responsible for enhancing and optimising the customer journey through focused supplier, customer and trade events.
Support the marketing activities of both the e-Drive and Emissions businesses with differing customer profiles by developing communication campaigns targeted at both prospect and existing customers at varying levels of seniority, whilst helping to grow and develop commercial opportunities within both groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Closely support the development and implementation of the Helix brand strategy.
- Conduct market research. Analyse and evaluate trends, brand awareness and competitor activity.
- Write copy for diverse marketing distribution (brochures, press releases, blogs, website etc.)
- Ensure all communications promote, protect and differentiate the company’s brand image in the marketplace.
- Work as part of the business development team to understand key business messages and translate them into solutions messages.
- Plan, organise and implement key partner joint marketing activity to compliment individual company marketing activities.
- Commission and manage projects, ensuring high quality, value for money & results, in line with the corporate and company strategy brand guidelines as well as deadlines.
- Maintain liaison with agencies, suppliers, printers, and designers.
- Prepare engaging conversations for Helix’s website and social media platforms.
- Maintain the Helix website.
- Any other tasks that are reasonably assigned to you by your line manager, including development activities, which are within your capability and grade.
Required Education & Industry Experience
- Relevant Batchelors Degree in a Marketing or Business (minimum 2:1).
- You should graduate (before September 2023 and no more than two years prior)
- Excellent project management skills – self-sufficient in prioritising, organising workloads, planning and motivating others.
- Proficient in MS Office packages and relevant marketing software (i.e. Adobe, HubSpot CRM, WordPress).
- A marketing graduate or executive with work experience within an active B2B marketing department with interest in customer experiences as well as digital marketing.
- Ability to work well in multi-disciplined/cross functional teams.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build close knit relationships with outside agencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adhere to company values & behaviours.
- Willingness to travel between sites and oversees to support exhibitions where necessary.
- Flexibility in working hrs.
Desirable Education & Industry Experience
- Charter Institute of Marketing post-graduate diploma.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Ability to articulate creative ideas both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail and good copywriting skills.
- A creative thinker with good problem-solving skills.
- Interest in engineering and or technology products.
- Good understanding of market research techniques.
- Sensitivity and professionalism applied to diverse customer bases with particular respect to issues of confidentiality.
- Driving Licence.
