Hexcel is currently seeking four (4) Student Workers for our Duxford Operations, Procurement and R&T location.
What you'll do
The selected individuals will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following obligations:
- Carrying out practical laboratory work and research on composite product development and testing
- Develop an appreciation of novel technologies and contribute to development of these
- Reporting and interpretation of results and project progress; give short presentations related to findings
- Preparation and testing of samples for their Chemical or Physical properties
- Preparation and cure of composite test specimens
- Contributing to the health, safety and environmental running of the laboratories
Qualifications
- Working towards a qualification in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering, or recent graduate
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
