    Purpose of the job

    • Develops copywriting skills across therapy areas and brands, taking direction from more senior writers and creatives.
    • Under direction of more senior copywriters, work collaboratively with a diverse team of art directors, designers, artworkers, editors and client service managers
    • Comfortable translating science into stories that actual make an impact
    • Excellent written English (vocabulary and grammar) and attention to detail
    • Liaise with other internal teams to develop your writing style and learn to create engaging copy for many different platforms and therapy areas
    • Get comfortable briefing colleagues on the science of diseases and therapies
    • Own the referencing of your own and other writer’s brand materials

    Key Responsibilities

    • The willingness to work across a wide range of therapy areas from rare disease to OTC
    • Appetite to put your hand up and get involved
    • Learn to write creative, clinical accurate, persuasive copy
    • Learn to switch tone of voice to write for patients, nurses, physicians and the general public
    • Generosity of spirit, an open nature and the diplomacy to challenge effectively

    Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    • Enjoy working closely with client service teams to deliver a range of projects
    • Willingness to learn to create original content from a range of briefs
    • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet timelines
    • Ability to take direction
    • Flexible attitude to multi-tasking
    • Comfortable working in a challenging and changing environment
    • Life sciences degree
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Previous experience in an agency environment is a plus, but we’re happy to train a recent graduate
