What you'll be doing
On the three-year Engineering Digital Technology and Solutions graduate programme, you’ll mix study with real life work on exciting, complex projects that will create a smarter, safer and more sustainable strategic road network.
Working with our Safety, Engineering and Standards teams, you’ll get valuable insight on how we research, develop and deliver specialist technology solutions for our roads. You’ll discover how we’re improving the customer experience through new transport and mobility technologies that will support our Digital Roads strategy, including Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
You’ll also complete a programme of apprenticeship study to achieve a Level 7 qualification in Digital and Technology Solutions, which opens the door to a variety of digital and IT specialist career possibilities.

What you'll need to succeed
If you have the passion to succeed that we see in our graduates every day, you’ll be a great match for our programme. You’ll have:

You’ll also need to meet these essential qualification requirements:
- An undergraduate (e.g. BA, BSc) degree at 2:2 or above in a Technology, Digital or Engineering subject (including sciences), plus
- A minimum of a Grade C/Grade 4 in Mathematics and English Language at GCSE
It is key to know all offers to onto our graduate programmes are subject to satisfactory completion of our pre-employment checks. This includes a Right to Work check, reference check and a DBS criminal record check.
