    As part of our #LEARN with hill programme, we are recruiting for a Graduate Bid Writer, to join the Hill Group Team, based in our Power Mill Lane head office in Waltham Abbey, Essex.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Graduate Bid Writer with Hill, your role will be to support our accomplished bid team by producing compelling, attractive, and successful bids for construction projects. Other key responsibilities include:

    • Research and analyse tender documents, project requirements and other relevant information.
    • Draft, edit and review bid documents, including technical, financial, and commercial components.
    • Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Support the bid team in all aspects of the bid process from initial concept to contract award.
    • Develop and implement bid strategies, tactics and processes to ensure successful bids.
    • Monitor competitor activities and identify new opportunities.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to the bid team.
    • Work closely with the project team to ensure alignment of the bid with the project planning and delivery.
    • Any other duties as requested

    Skills, Experience and Attributes

    • A Bachelor’s degree, having achieved or predicted to achieve a 2:1 or above (NB depending on other factors/circumstance, marginally lower grades may be considered)
    • Excellent creative, reading and writing skills.
    • Ability to work on own initiative and to timescales
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • The ability to work well as part of a team
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated interest in property and construction would be beneficial
