Role
We are looking for an MBA Intern to help support with the new Energy & Industry hub set up. This involves deep diving into profitability to identify value diluters and make recommendations to resolve these. You will also support with the new set up of the project management office by helping set up dashboard and sales reporting processes.
This will be a fixed term paid internship for 3 months full time or 6 months part time.

What does the role involve?
Your main tasks will be to;
Deep dive into the GB Offshore and Denmark Offshore businesses profitability and identify value diluters areas. This will lead to you identifying some actionable steps to correct.
Work closely with the Finance Business partner on the Offshore integration project management
Assist the Regional head of the Project Management Office to create PMO specific Dashboards: extracts from Salesforce, OpeProject, Float and consolidation in a cockpit, reflecting Engineering Efficiency, Value creation aspects.
Support of Sales reporting process: Salesforce data quality check, based on existing pipeline and verification against the established track processes

Our Head Office is currently based next to Old Trafford but in early 2021 we will move to state of the art new premises at Circle Square in Central Manchester. We will continue to offer free parking for employees and will be located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop.

Who you are
- Student undergoing either Master's degree / Finance, Business Management, Strategy Management or an MBA
- Some commercial business understanding
- Willingness to learn about the company and Project management department specifically
- Demonstrated ability to navigate in business setting with multiple cross-functional stakeholders desired but not essential
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems desired but not essential
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a sense for pragmatic solutions
- Confidence to push your own ideas and back it up with facts/analyses
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or within a team to get things done
- Willingness to develop yourself
