    The Revenue Management Consolidated Centre (RMCC) is responsible for hotel revenue management for 300+ hotels across the UK & Ireland and Europe regions, looked after by a very diverse team of over 100+ team members representing 27 nationalities, and offers world-class revenue management talent and tools to our hotels.     The role

    Design, develop, and maintain processes that provide consistent, reliable, and automated delivery of data to RMCC and its relevant stakeholders. Support growth of the centre by assisting the Senior Management Team and Cluster Revenue Managers in the strategic coordination of revenue
    management processes and procedures. Continually maximise the efficiency and drive the innovation and development of the Revenue Analyst team through forward looking thinking and the creation, implementation and maintenance of data warehouses, reports, and tools for RMCC.

    Key responsibilities include

    • Ensure consistent process & procedures for all hotels being managed in the RMCC by covering all the Revenue Analysts’ production tasks as and when necessary
    • Ensure the delivery of a reliable and versatile reporting package to all stakeholders within the assigned deadlines
    • Gather and process raw data at scale, including writing scripts, web scraping, calling API’s, write SQL queries
    • Review data collection processes and assess the validity of the information stored
    • Identify and eliminate any processes or procedures that contribute to unreliable data being collected
    • Identify opportunities to use data and analytics to improve operational performance.
    • Maintain effective and regular communication with all stakeholders to ensure that all relevant requests, which enable the implementation of optimal strategies and controls are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner
    • Drive the innovation of the Revenue Analyst department by engaging in project work and responsibilities that actively enhance the performance and scope of the Revenue Analyst Team’s capabilities

    Support the successful completion of all objectives linked to the Revenue Analysts and RMCC Strategic Frameworks

      Analyst team’s product as well as the decisions and actions being taken among the Revenue Managers and Senior Team

    • Supports all Revenue Managers and Senior Leadership in the RMCC to ensure a constant and consistent delivery of Revenue
      Management reporting materials and to drive the business processes forward

    Specific accountabilities

    Reporting

    • Update, process, generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports
    • Produce, ensure accuracy and distribute Daily Detail reports on a daily basis with data gathered from the Lobby, Revenue Management Systems (GRO), Market Share sources (STR/MKG/BA) and Catering Production systems (Delphi/RMCC CP)
    • Produce, ensure accuracy and distribute reports and other materials for regular meetings and business processes including, but not confined to, Business Focus Meeting (BFM) packs, and Commercial Review Packs
    • Complete Revenue Analyst daily/weekly/monthly tasks, including the distribution of Senior Team reporting alongside other duties, and take ownership of said tools/reports on a rolling annual basis. Ownership includes maintenance, support and innovation of currently owned tools/processes through the use of evolving technical skills
    • Perform the above tasks with the use of various systems including MS Excel, Access & Outlook alongside the use of the VB.Net framework, VBA, SQL, Python, R and other coding languages
    • Utilize Microsoft SQL Server and Db Visualizer for extraction and analysis of data from multiple sources with demonstrated ability to effectively manipulate and report data
    • On-board hotels into RMCC Europe with the use of the Revenue Analyst on boarding procedure and checklist
    • Assist with preparation and automation of ad hoc and reoccurring reporting assignments from the Leadership Team in a timely and effective manner

    Project based work

    • Create, develop and innovate
    • Create and develop new reports as required within data environments and systems including Redshift, MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI, MicroStrategy or similar to assist in the preparation for revenue management meetings or data analysis
    • Development of analytical tools that provide enhanced decision support and analysis to corporate and property users
    • Actively seek ways to and participate in the innovation and development of current Revenue Analyst procedures, tools and processes
      Project Management of tool development projects and roll-outs
    • Ensure that the Revenue Analyst Strategic Framework targets are met through active participation in assigned Strategic Framework project work
    • Participate in periodic research on evolving trends and best practices within data and Analytics alongside current technological advancements that may provide benefit to the centre

    What are we looking for

    Applicants will ideally have experience in the following areas:

    • 1+ years of relevant working experience in an analytical role involving data extraction and reporting
    • Experience with reporting in MS Excel
    • Experience in VBA & SQL Coding Languages
    • Experience in VB.Net Framework
    • Experience with Python coding language
    • Experience with R coding language
    • Experience working with data and reporting environments such as Redshift, MicroStrategy, or similar
    • Server-based database development experience (MS SQL Management Studio, DB Visualizer)
    • Report development with Power BI, Power Automate, MS Reporting Services or similar reporting software
    • Hotel commercial experience Preferred

    Qualities
