A bit about the job
As an intern, you will be providing day-to-day support for the EMEA Regional Directors by the successful delivery of EMEA Wellness strategic objectives. Tasks that you will be involved in include:
- Developing a scalable support model for ongoing operations and pre-opening
- Supporting products to enhance General & Spa Manager accountability of Wellness facilities within their hotels
- Increase focus on ensuring appropriate talent is leading our Wellness facilities
- Building out an approved resource as a go-to for in-region pre-opening excellence, On-Boarding and ongoing Best Practice
- Production of Wellness Leadership, Recruitment and Retention Tools
- EMEA monthly Mystery Shopper reporting & Analysis for wider business intel, best practice sharing, increased win with customers and increased performance
- Support the Spa Regional Director’s related administrative tasks when needed
This will be the rough split of your time in this role
Support Activities (20%)
- Daily support to Regional Spa Director in delivery of Key EMEA Strategic Objectives
Content Activities / Productised Solutions (70%)
- Planning, creation and delivery of the EMEA Wellness Key Strategic Objectives
- Work with key team to assisst and support with the successful creation of Strategic Objectives
Planning & Organising Activities (10%)
- Plan daily, weekly, monthly action plans for a timely and successful delivery
What are we looking for?
As with any job, we do have certain criteria that you will need to meet in order to be considered for this amazing opportunity. These are detailed as follows;
- Must be in your second year of undergraduate study at the point of application
- Must be able to start in July 2023 and available for the full 12 months
- Must be eligible to work in the UK. If you are a non-UK national, without EU Settled or Pre-Settled Status then you will need to be studying at a UK university in order to be eligible to undertake a placement here
- The ideal candidate will have at least an interest in the hotel/hospitality industry if not relevant to your degree or any work experience you might have
- A Hospitality or Business Management related degree is preferred, however we will consider applicants from other disciplines providing you are able to demonstrate a strong desire to progress a career in this area
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Exceptionally organized and comfortable prioritizing tasks and working to deadlines
- Additional European, Middle Eastern or African language skills would be advantageous, although not essential
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) with strong Excel modelling skills and PowerPoint/visual skills
