    The role

    We are seeking a dynamic and eager STEM graduate or an experienced computer modeler with expertise/interest in thermal modelling, fluid dynamics, parametric design, programming/scripting, data analysis who is enthusiastic about sustainability and technology and wants to become a part of our Building Physics department.

    As a graduate building physics consultant, your day-to-day tasks will vary, your responsibilities will include the creation of dynamic 3D computer models of buildings and the collection and analysis of data from computer simulation software to achieve diverse objectives. Your involvement in projects will span various scales, ranging from designing and simulating building components to optimizing building performance and master planning design.

    A fundamental understanding of thermodynamics, sustainable building design, and energy systems is a crucial requirement. As a part of the Building Physics Team, your role will involve frequent interaction with colleagues and project teams, engagement with clients or end users, and participation in collaborative meetings. Effective collaboration will necessitate strong visual communication skills, enabling you to convey intricate ideas through visuals and engage with a diverse audience, both technical and non-technical.

    What we are looking for?

    • Master’s degree in a STEM related subject
    • Previous placement or work experience in a similar industry is an advantage
    • An understanding of 3D modelling and simulation software is an advantage
    • Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills - Ability to work in a team environment and independently - A friendly, ambitious and confident individual with a flexible and resilient approach
