Holgates Holiday Parks is a family-owned and operated group of 10 holiday parks, providing guests with memorable experiences for over 60 years. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service and providing our guests with a range of high-quality facilities and amenities.
We are currently on the hunt for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing team to help us promote all areas of the business, from holiday homes ownership to fantastic food and everything in between!
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns across a range of channels, including social media, email, and print
- Create and schedule content for social media platforms using scheduler programmes including Hootsuite
- Monitor and analyse the performance of campaigns using Google Analytics (bonus points for knowledge of GA4) and report on findings
- Assist with the creation of marketing material using Canva
- Generate an understanding of the business and target demographics
- Voice ideas and seek out alternative marketing routes
- Maintain and update customer databases using Microsoft Excel
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as required
Requirements
- A keen interest in marketing trends and an understanding of marketing principles
- Experience using programmes such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Canva, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Adaptable nature working across multiple teams and locations
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn
- Degree level qualification (desirable)
