    To manage the implementation of the Dansac Ostomy marketing plan and to become the market specialist for the Dansac Ostomy business. Assist the Senior Marketing Manager in the preparation of the overall UK marketing plan and the sales management team in the achievement of the Ostomy UK sales target.

    Responsibilities

    Deploy Country Based Strategy – Upstream Marketing (in conjunction with Senior Marketing Manager)

    • Actively develop and maintain relationships with KOL’s, Associations, Client and Consumer Advisory Boards to ensure accurate market and customer insights are folding into strategic planning
    • Support and conduct market and competitive research and clinician surveys as a means to further collect strategic insights, validate strategic plans and identify market trends which could entail NPD or revisions to strategic direction/execution
    • Support and provide input into Global Marketing regarding future product, evidence and health economic requirements

    Develop/Deploy Product Strategy – Downstream Marketing

    • Support the implementation of the Dansac UK&I marketing plan and its part in the generation of the agreed sales plan
    • Deploy key marketing strategies and tactics that support nursing activities and their strategy
    • Execute communications strategy for brand/new products ensuring alignment with Senior Marketing Manager, UK Consumer and end-user marketing leads
    • Lead the development of marketing literature and assets to execute campaigns and communications activities in compliance with regulatory guidelines including securing Veeva approval (as content submitter for brand)
    • Support and lead product portfolio assessment work for the BU based on market needs and competitor assortments (in conjunction with Senior Marketing Manager)
    • Analyse national market and sales data, highlight trends and distil insights including competitor strengths and weaknesses
    • Analyse research findings, distilling and sharing actionable insights across the Business Unit and with the wider Marketing Team
    • Keep updated on reimbursement, regulatory and healthcare policy and trends as part of developing knowledge of the UK healthcare landscape
    • Collaborate with wider marketing team to drive cross-functional alignment and identification of marketing synergies across Continence, Pathways and Consumer Marketing
    • Drive cross functional collaboration and partnerships within the BU with Sales and Nursing Teams coordinating category team meetings (CTM’s) on a monthly basis to secure market insights and campaign updates
    • Co-travel with field Sales and Nursing Team members to understand the issues they face (campaign execution), customer needs and market changes
    • To provide appropriate marketing support and initiatives to the Ostomy Sales and Nursing Teams in order to achieve Dansac growth and sales plans
    • Manage appropriate new product and/or service introductions, liaising with other Hollister departments and with the appropriate authorities and government departments (including Drug Tariff and C+D)
    • Represent the UK Marketing Team within Global Ostomy meetings and other meetings (e.g. QUBE) as deemed appropriate enabling effective representation of the UK Ostomy business interests
    • To become the Ostomy business and product specialist; a source for market and competitor product and company information by supporting in-market visits and customer events
    • Work with Clinical Education colleagues to assist in the management of the Clinical Education curriculum/offer supporting the delivery of product content as required

    Finance Management/Budgets, Planning and Forecasting

    • Ensure marketing activities are implemented within budget
    • Monitor marketing campaign effectiveness, reporting on Return of Marketing Investment (ROMI) and other campaign metrics/KPI’s
    • Monitor new product launches and movement, revise forecast numbers, monitor revenue performance and provide additional marketing support where needed to achieve revenue targets
    • Contribute to BU annual planning process with product/brand sales input
    • Track and provide accurate forecasts for new products to BU and GMO as part of Hollister's SPRING business cases

    Work Experience Requirements

    • 2 years Marketing Experience (preferable)
    • Understanding of UK healthcare and NHS landscape
    • Experience of working within Ostomy category preferred

    Education Requirements

    • Overall good education and results is essential
    • Education to degree level is desirable, although not essential
    • CIM qualifications or working towards CIM
