    Are you ready to help us make the future? We have an opportunity for a software engineering intern to join our SATCOM team in Tewkesbury. This position is responsible for supporting and developing cutting edge software solutions for satellite connectivity in the aerospace sector.

    Responsibilities

    • Systems and HW design of Satellite Communication systems primarily in the L-band frequency range
    • Testing and debugging systems according to test specifications
    • Contribution to design and document reviews for your own and other areas of development
    • Providing support to the team to meet project milestones

    About you

    Experience & skills required

    • Experience in electronic engineering through school and home projects, or industrial experience
    • Eagerness to lean new skills and develop engineering knowledge
    • Good communication skills.Ability to communicate basic concepts and designs to small team
    • Ability to plan and organise workload through the week
    • Enthusiastic Can-Do attitude
    • Software skills in Python or other languages

    Qualifications

    • Currently attending a Graduate or MSC qualification course in Electronics or Communications Engineering.
    • A-level or equivalent in Maths and Science with subject grades C or above
